What is Winter Cup?

On 22 January, teams complete challenges together, collect points and compete in their category. Spectators are welcome to cheer them on.

Is entry really free?

Entry to the open festival on 23 January is free. Food, rentals and individual services cost extra. Winter Cup on 22 January requires registration.

Can I come without a team?

Of course. Open sports activities, the market and the general programme are for all visitors. You only need a team to compete in Winter Cup.

What happens on 22 January?

22 January is for Winter Cup team competitions, with spectators welcome. The market, public skating, sauna village and Winter After Dark concert take place on 23 January.

What should I bring?

Warm layers, gloves and comfortable winter footwear. Equipment hire and anything needed for individual activities will be covered in the detailed programme.

What if the weather changes?

Winter activities depend on the weather. We will publish the latest programme and any changes here before the festival. Check the page before travelling.
